Why I'm actually doing this
This didn't start as a plan — it started as a hobby that kept pulling me back. Years of anime, manga, and games built a genuine curiosity about the language and the culture behind them, and at some point "someday" turned into a savings goal and a study schedule. The move is still a couple of years out, but every JLPT level and every yen saved is a real step toward it, not a daydream.
I'm not moving to escape anything. I'm moving toward something I've been circling for years.
